Paul Bowles' contribution to this LP is his 'Music for a Farce',
which dates originally from 1938, when Bowles wrote this piece
for Orson Welles Play 'Too Much Johnson', which in fact was
dropped before it reached completion. Bowles arranged a suite
from the stage music, and in this form it was given its premiere
at a League of Composers in early 1939.
