Lotus Pods -
Nelumbo spp. These pods are fertility symbols throughout Asia; many
seeds mean many children. In the West, they are often used to cast love
spells or to protect oneself against a love spell. Their cup-like shape
makes them good for asking blessing, and they are great for Water
magic. These are small pods about 1" across, which is a good size for
tipping a wand. The seeds are still inside, and the pods rattle softly
when shaken.
